FASHION DESIGNER
Abigail’s creative journey began at a young age, when her passion for the arts led her to teach herself to sew at 12 and explore patternmaking and construction. This early experimentation laid the foundation for a career in high fashion that would take her all the way to Parsons Paris. Now a proud graduate, Abigail has honed her skills in fashion design, teamwork, and time management—culminating in a thesis collection that boldly reinterprets menswear.
When she’s not in the studio, Abigail enjoys reading, trivia, and strolling through the scenic paths of Buttes Chaumont. Eager to channel her creative vision into real-world impact, she is actively seeking internship opportunities in menswear design to further develop her craft and contribute to the dynamic world of fashion.
For her thesis, Abigail created a collection with a less somber approach to menswear. She was inspired by the energetic attitude and gender-bending style of male-dominated Glam Rock bands of the 1970s, like Queen and the New York Dolls. To bring this reference into the contemporary she mixed the rock silhouettes with the world of ski. From the stage onto the slopes, this collection liberates menswear through new shapes for extravagant ski wear.
