FASHION DESIGNER
Abigail Olson is a Paris-based fashion designer specializing in creative direction, garment development, and technical construction for contemporary brands.
A graduate of Parsons Paris, Abigail began sewing and patternmaking as a teenager, developing a hands-on understanding of craftsmanship long before entering formal education. Her work blends a sharp eye for silhouette with a deep respect for technical process, a combination she honed through internships with luxury houses including Chloé, Gabriela Hearst, and Louise Lyngh Byerregaard.
Her thesis collection—boldly reimagining menswear through the lens of 1970s Glam Rock and alpine sportswear—explored volume, eccentricity, and gender expression in an unapologetically maximalist aesthetic. From concept to construction, Abigail approaches design as both an expressive and collaborative process.
Now working independently, she offers personal collaborations in sewing, patternmaking, technical packs, and creative support for emerging designers and stylists. She is currently based in Paris and available for both local and remote projects.
When not in the studio, she’s likely looking for great new thrift finds, trying to beat her time in her 5k, or walking through the slopes of Buttes Chaumont with a matcha in hand.
